Congratulations to the team at Grindrod's dry bulk terminal in Maputo Port (Grindrod Mozambique Limitada) for securing the top position in the KPMG survey of the Best Company in Mozambique for 2022. The results were recently announced in the XXV edition of the prestigious survey of "The 100 largest Companies in Mozambique".
The “Best Company in Mozambique” ranking was introduced in the 10th edition of the magazine, with the aim of rewarding the company with the best economic and financial performance in the year under review.
Grindrod demonstrated exceptional performance across various parameters, securing the top position with an impressive score of 485 points, placing it in the number one position of the “Best company in Mozambique” for 2022. This achievement is attributed to the company's remarkable Business Volume Growth of approximately 355%, resulting in 98 points. Additionally, Grindrod excelled in Turnover Profitability (84 points) and Equity (96 points), showcasing its robust financial standing and operational efficiency.
