Last week, we proudly celebrated the 2nd anniversary of our Bassopa Safety Culture Campaign in Maputo — joined by over 300 employees, contractors, and partners who continue to champion safety and excellence across our operations.
At the same event, we unveiled “The Grindrod Way” — a transformative framework that places people at the heart of growth, while reinforcing our commitment to safety, ethics, and operational excellence.

Since launching Bassopa in 2023, we’ve achieved a 62% reduction in Lost Time Injuries, a powerful testament to the dedication of our teams.
Celebrations also took place in Durban, Nacala, and eSwatini, reinforcing our shared values across regions.
