A spirited group of 37 representatives from Grindrod’s ships agency, cross-border, and project logistics divisions took part in the annual Suncoast East Coast Radio Big Walk along Durban’s iconic beachfront recently.
Participants embraced the choice of either a 5km or 10km route, soaking in the breathtaking scenery of the promenade and the sweeping views of the Indian Ocean. The event, a much-loved fixture on the city’s calendar, celebrates togetherness, wellness, and the vibrant energy of Durban.
Each year, families, friends, colleagues, and walking groups gather to enjoy the fresh ocean air and the camaraderie that makes the Big Walk so special. For Grindrod’s team, it was not only an opportunity to connect outside the workplace but also a chance to promote physical and mental well-being in a fun, relaxed environment.
